Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur form Rajasthan's classic first circuit — the Pink City, the Blue City, and the City of Lakes, each with a distinct character and a genuine full-day-plus of sightseeing.
Days 1–2: Jaipur Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Nahargarh Fort's sunset viewpoint over the city cover Jaipur's essentials, with a bazaar evening in the Pink City's old quarter for jewellery, textiles and Rajasthani street food.
Day 3: Travel to Jodhpur The drive between Jaipur and Jodhpur takes roughly 5–6 hours by road; some travellers prefer to split this with a stop at Pushkar or Ajmer along the way if timing allows.
Days 4–5: Jodhpur Mehrangarh Fort dominates Jodhpur both physically and as its must-see sight, alongside Jaswant Thada's marble cenotaph and a walk through the blue-painted old city that gives Jodhpur its nickname.
Day 6: Travel to Udaipur Jodhpur to Udaipur is around 5–6 hours by road, arriving in time for an evening at Lake Pichola.
Day 7: Udaipur City Palace, Lake Pichola boat ride, Jagdish Temple and Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace) for a hilltop sunset make for a strong closing day before your onward journey.
Best time for this circuit October to March offers comfortable daytime sightseeing temperatures across all three cities; April onward gets genuinely hot, particularly in Jodhpur and Jaipur.
How this fits our packages We don't currently run this exact three-city circuit as a single fixed package, but our Udaipur & Kumbhalgarh and Udaipur & Mount Abu itineraries cover the Udaipur leg in depth — get in touch via our Custom Quote form if you'd like the full Jaipur–Jodhpur–Udaipur circuit built as a custom trip.
